The expression “college shotgun” brings back memories. Back in the day I kept a .410 in the back of the closet in my dorm room so that I could go rabbit or squirrel hunting on the weekends… and nobody cared.
A few years earlier my brother was an RA and he kept a S&W 19 in his room so he could go target shooting. Again, nobody cared.
