1st Post. Looking forward to getting my FDE Dagger!
If anyone is in the H-Town Space Country area, Triple T Holsters are a great local shop in Kemah. They can make anything at an affordable price and usually same day.
*I don’t work there but all the local law enforcement, Cabellas, and the Ranges recommend them. Since I just moved here, I was thankful for the advice!
Just received my Dagger today and went to Adventure Outdoors in Atlanta and tried the Alien Gear G19 holster shell. Fits perfectly and I added it to my ShapeShift rig I bought when I got my G43X. No modifications, perfect fit right out of the box.
Nice holster, but I was curious about that magwell in the picture. Or is it not a magwell but rather part of a custom baseplate for the magazine to give you additional capacity? I have seen plenty of devices like that for Glock, but this is the first I recall seeing something that could add +2 or 3 to a Dagger.
It’s just a sleeve that fits over the 17rd mag to fill the gap. It’s specifically made for the Dagger. The sleeves are 3D printed. They fit well feel good with the factory stippling even though the sleeves are just printed that way. Since the mags are Glock mags the +2 baseplates will work with the Daggers as well. Click the link the guy who designed it does a great job of describing everything in the video. Bloody Wheels Dagger Mag Sleeves
If anyone wants a relatively inexpensive holster with a bunch of attachment options, the CompTac QB Holster (Size 1) fits the Dagger (and all other Glock-based guns including the Shadow Systems) well. Retention is good but there’s a bit of back-and-forth play since the holster is semi-universal.
I’d advise that it’s good for competition use but too chunky for CCW.
My G19 McKinatec Defender appendix rig with an Olight PL2 Mini Valkyrie light fits the Dagger just fine, as does my Bravo Concealment Torsion (no light) . The Bravo is more of a friction fit rather than click-lock retention, but using a heat gun to add a little trigger guard dimple would solve that.
Does anyone know if the Nerd holsters are light bearing? Their website isn’t the best for information and I can’t seem to find any videos or sites that discuss it.
I’m thinking of going Skullhead for the IWB and maybe a Nerd OWB until Alien Gear drops a Dagger holster.
Oh, my light is either going to be a tlr-1 or tlr-7.
I ordered my dagger last week. Threaded barrel, supressor sights and RMR cut. I was looking at holsrers and decided to stick it in my M&P C.O.R.E holster just to see and to my surprise its nearly perfict.
PJ holsters makes Dagger holsters with just about any light. I had him order the dagger mold but he hasn’t listed them on his website yet. I have 3 light bearing holsters, 2 IWB and 1 OWB for TLR 1. Just pick Glock 19 and in the comments write for PSA Dagger.
X-FER also makes holsters for just the TLR 1 that fits any gun. These work well also.
My go to Tier1 Concealed Axis Slim (EDC), Safariland 6390RDS (TacticalGames/2/3gun), and RDR Gear OWB all work (IDPA) all work great my Dagger/Holosun Vulcan with either a TLR7A or TLR1HL.
