Eggs prices 2025 🄚

Joe biden did more damage in 4 years than Jimmy Carter did.

Ironic ain’t it they would be fighting over the last braincell and it flies off

Here in Beaufort Co. SC restaurants are up charging for eggs.

Same here in Lexington

If they increase in price anymore then I’ll just not buy them. The article above expects them to increase an additional 41%.

just another part of the scorched earth policy that the dems carried out on their way out of power, to give MSM talking points to try to carry into the mid-terms!

$4.65 at Sam’s a little bit ago per dozen. Less than 5

$5.97 per dozen local Walmart

The white one swent up so I bought brown.

I hear my wife say, the brown is better for you !

I’ve heard that too. It doesn’t matter to me which. Had both on the step-grandparents farm. It cracked me up on Thanksgiving time I cooked breakfast that weekend and some of the family was marking a preference for white. When I got to Beverly I said out loud ā€œOh hell, you don’t care same as I don’t, you’re an old farm girl.ā€ I seem to remember the brown ones being a little richer as a kid though

I know a guy who only eats white ones from grocery store, he will not eat brown ones or the ones I get from my family that’s has chickens.

Kinda funny I think

We have locals that raise chickens and they have a rainbow of colors. I use to hear the color came from what they ate but it’s based on what breed the chicken is

The Wife and I were in Tractor Supply on Wednesday - dang near every single person had a little cardboard crate of peeping chicks, checking out. Even one lady, dressed like she’s never even seen a Live Chicken in person before then, let-alone cared for a backyard flock.

Colouring has absolutely Zero-Nada-Nothing-Zip-ZilchĆ© to do with taste or ā€œnutritional contentā€ of chicken eggs.

All in the mind.

Russian hoax or misinformation?

Ancient Chinese Secret!

(BTW - we need more Calgon next time you get to the store!)

Chicks cost about $6 each around here.
Then you have to house and feed them and hope you don’t lose them to whatever.

I don’t think that’s a sound investment anymore, could be wrong but I can go to Walmart and buy a rotisserie chicken for the same money  and use the money to raise a chick and buy my own eggs and zero headaches.

24-26 hrs to lay an egg would be the return.
