Just wanted to post a shout out to PSA Customer Support. I received my Rock barrel without the thread protector. Sent an email to CS and they responded the next day that the cap would be sent out. Less than 7 days later I received an email that it will be delivered tomorrow! Granted the cap should not have been omitted to begin with, but they made good on fixing and within a very reasonable timeframe. Thanks PSA!
