H&R project

Topper 158 30-30 410 barrels. Missing correct butt plate/srews and the snap closure on the forend is not correct. RUSTY!!! But tight breach. Got a young grandson that will get this one when worthy and ready.

Try mixing in a little Flitz with the steel wool, will probably make your de-rusting go a bit more quickly.

Kinda got ahead of this progress…correct part was in my mailbox last night. Fitment was correct for the rifle barrel but l had to make it fit the shot barrel.

Thank you sir! Was working on that stain on the stock watching the game. Baking soda water and a tooth brush…gone! Ironically this project came raw/stripped walnut furniture. By the way l was hoping The Seminoles have pulled thru. Got some ties in Tallahassee!

I’ve been watching your progress on the Topper with much interest. I have a 30-30/20 ga combo and I have been eyeing that .410 barrel with envy lol. I’ve priced a few over the last few years and they are averaging around $250.00. After seeing your project I am probably gonna go ahead and buy one. I got the gun as a hand me down from a cousin many years ago and I’m going hand it on down to my grandson also.
As for the Indian he is actually a "Crying Washington Redskin". I have been a 'Skins fan for over 60 years so the name change didn’t sit very well with me… Other than that I think Florida State got screwed by the NCAA.
