It don't take much to entertain me

It is a 4 piece kit but the garden tub l had to cut it in half to get it out
@Rufus

Hey Kevin, I can’t step into my tub anymore either.

And I’ve got no problem not showering for a few days. Let’s say you have the whole thing done by Wednesday, cool?

@Don_Keedix
Lucky to have a fine young man that crawled under the house to assist with the new location for the drain! It is at the low-end of the house.

Pop opted out for a shower door and going with a hotel/motel fabric curtain instead. He is stoked about this project for safe entry and exit.

thats awesome. at firs ti thought you were gonna put in one of those step in tubs with the door. but the shower looks just as good. i’d have to have a bench or seat of some sort, standing long term and balance and what not with me arent as good a friends as we used to be pre sickness.

Ditto

They do make shower chairs that you can remove, fold and store if need be.

yeah ive seen those… luckily my home shower has a seat bench built in to it so im ok… but yeah… its rough some for me without that.

Ditto.
Gotta have a shower seat!

Have two in mine as well i use neither. Noodling.

i would say its an old man thing, but honestly ive used a shower seat as long as i can remember having access to them. which has been at least 25+ years.

Sheet rock hung, finish mud/tape and painted. Added two more handrails one at the toilet with a seat booster. And yes we got him a seat for the stall. And two towel racks installed. And he loves it!!!

Seen this on X thought it was neat

I like that! It appears to have castors maybe? I’d say so cause of the weight
@Coolwin1776

uggggghhhh, I miss Radio Shack.

Man I love that. Walmart has drop- ins cheap.
@Coolwin1776

I Like it. Want to build an outdoor kitchen under a 12x16 pavilion with tin roof. Sink that drains into yard fed by garden hose . Wife doesn’t want me to build it. She loves to grill, smoke and BBQ, and stays outside more than indoors, even in winter - but doesn’t want an outdoor kitchen. We have a dinky 5’x8’ bbq gazebo. It sucks. But she loves it. Go figure. :thinking: We have a 50’ x 70’ concrete pad, and it would still have plenty of room to build the damn thing.

I seen pics of that pad! How did your vintage Weber turn out?
@bonamoleonard

that is a hell of a job there on that bathroom.. good job sir!

industrial castors on that grill would be bad ā– ā– ā– .. then all you need is a ramp to roll it right into the truck bed.

seconded.

Thank you Steve! I get to use it too when I’m there spending a few days with him

20 minutes north where my pop lives, small town of Russellville KY there is one! He bought out several stores and sells NOS Realistic and Radio Shack items like build kits of electronics, parts of all kinds, heck you name it. Very cool store and with the old school Radio Shack theme!

you’re welcome… i supose that is a real reward then for you working to make it. :slight_smile:
