Looking for a new addition

…in my head what I want is a Px4 storm in .45 acp
in my heart I want a stainless 92FS in 9mm
my wallet says get the heritage 99 dollar revolver in .22.
My brain says you cant afford this hobby anyway.

is there much advantage to a cz75 over a 92fs?
should I just save up for a large caliber revolver
in todays age of gun confiscation and legal action against self defense is it even worth putting money down on something I actually want to keep?

The options are maddening

I think what you’re looking for is a NIB, matched pair of Colt Boas.

This is my thought process every time. Part of me wants to buy a hundred dollar print Hi-Point because why not. Another part of me, the seemingly more responsible part, says I should buy .357 revolver because it would be easier to reload, especially reloading 38s. Then my squirrel brain says I need mouse guns because 25autos are too much fun.

reloading is a space I haven’t found myself in , range trolls can have my brass…I just don’t have the time to add a whole other hobby to my hobby

If one gun is good, more guns is Better! I say go for them all, it’s called a “Collection” for a reason. Always able to do some trading/swapping out there as well.

You should grow up and be more responsible now that you’re a father and buy the 357 Brad :joy:

maybe if it was still 2019…in todays economy I can’t afford em all…as far as trading…what do you want to trade me for an old miller thunderbolt 225 with a copper core? Probably still works.

I already have a 1911, it’s a jam-o-matic :frowning:

Yeah I have one, but figured out the cause and fixed that.

I just figured a best of both worlds - you wanting a Beretta 92 and .45acp . I know Rock Island ain’t top shelf, but you said budget friendly.

I appreciate it.
But I’m kind of on the PX4 bandwagon, have wanted a 92 since I was a young teen, and the CZ75 falls in between. and as far as budget friendly goes I can pay in 4 so I was just kind joshing about the 99 dollar revolver…I’m just kind of manic when it comes to gun purchases because I’m frugal but still want what I want…My 1911 has really been the only headache I’ve placed upon myself with my system or decision so far. That being said I’ll likely just wait until something I like goes on sale deep enough to allow me to justify the purchase and so then it shall be decided.
How did you manage to get your 1911 to stop jamming?

I wanted the CZ75 for a long time, finally got one last year. The 92F is somewhere close on my list…

Yeah I have a 92FS I picked up years ago in a package deal in order to get a snake gun I wanted. I really wasn’t interested in it at that time but certainly glad I held onto it now.

Maybe someday I’ll be able to afford Mac n Cheese every day…
A LGS had a stainless 92FS but it was used and they wanted new prices…I don’t care how smooth the slide was I don’t want to pay that kind of money on a gun that wasn’t NiB. But I’m sure PSA will have a sale on something I want sometime (any PSA insiders please feel free to send me a sale schedule with prices for the next 365 days so I can plan my purchases accordingly plz and ty or maybe y’all would like to send me products to demonstrate on my YT channel with 0 followers, subscribers, or members.)

A 92FS is definitely on my list. Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon had me grow out the long mane when I was younger. It’s a little thin up top now but I still want a 92FS to take to the Christmas tree lot.

A 92 would be nice to have, and add to my APX. I’ve always wanted one.

The PX4 Storm is really an under rated pistol, and worth pursuing if that that’s what you really want.

The $99 revolver speaks to me. I traded some gun parts for a bunch of ammo a few years back. Come to find out there was a ton of .22 short mixed in with the .22LR.

So I need some way to shoot the .22 short.

I need a .22 revolver.

I find it’s really hard to argue against a 92…so far I’ve heard the biggest con is the safety location and a lot of people claiming the natural movement when grabbing and aiming the gun is putting the safety on…which isn’t fun and I could definitely see being obnoxious in the moment.
