Magazine Issues with AR-V

Hi - I’ve got two issues with my AR-V.

The first is that the mags I bought with it, the ETS and the Magpul, cause failure to feed or double feed issues. [I have 2 of each if anyone wants to buy them, one of each opened but never fired (I used A-Zoom snap caps to test) and one of each unopened.]

The second is that I’ve looked to buy new PSA magazines, but the only ones I see are labelled “AK-V” not “AR-V”. Will the AK-V magazines work?

My experience with customer service is that I either wait on the phone for 45-50min to get an issues resolved (which they do), or I send a contact form request into the ether never to be heard from again. Thanks in advance!

Yes, the AK-V mags are the same. They’re really mags “for” the CZ Scorpion Evo 3. Someone might be able to give you tips on getting the mags you bought to work. A lot of people like the Magpul mags because of the indicators showing how full/empty they are.

Magpul has had lots of mag issues lately across various platforms. For my arv, i stick with psa and they always work.

I use the PSA mags in my AK-V and AR-V, never had any problems.

My AR-V works flawlessly with the PMAG and CZ Scorpion mags. Good, bad, or indifferent, some of us live in states where PSA will not ship their “hi cap” mags, and so we are left with what we can get our hands on.

To avoid any issues in the future, just buy the PSA mags. Great price and flawless operation.
