Adds character. I’m not too far behind you @ejdnvn1
You need a Sabre version.. the grip on it is the best I have ever held.
Don’t tempt me lol. I wouldn’t hate another full-size in my life
well allow me to. As guitar guy and i got our sabre daggers around the same time, i must totally agree with him.. i thought i loved the dagger grip.. then i met my Sabre dagger.. I blame it largly on the mag well, but the texture, wethere or not anythings done to it, gives me the feeling that i think its better.. and thats all that matters.. i love how it feels. I bet you will too.
Now that they sell just the frames you can get one and use with your current upper.
Forgive me if I sound ignorant but other then the stippling what is the difference in the frames? My internals are either polished glock or shadow systems so this gun is basically my version of an elite dagger and has a nice crisp trigger with about a 3lb pull
A few internal changes including trigger. Frame has different stipling and a PSA magwell.
Ive figured it out. So the metgar mags work reliably “IF" you have installed and all aluminum mag release in your dagger. So I originally had an aluminum mag release in mine as soon as I bought the pistol and the mags ran flawlessly, actually better than my mags. We’ll the other day I bought a new mag release and the internal part is plastic and just the button is aluminum and guess what? Now its firing 1st round and drops the mag. The mag release that is reliable is the aggressive arms mag release I bought off ebay.
Welcome to the PSA community @kayleighmay2693
Pretty much.. I have about 500 rds with these magazines and will say this.. they are awesome in the full size S frame, probably the best mags I’ve used. The g19 mags rock to much in the compact and can fail to feed the round at least once per mag..as a result I have modified all g19 mecgar mags to be used in my full sizeS exclusively..and welcome to the forums
i wouldn’t personally modify the dagger at all and i would use ets magazines.. most arguably for reliability especially when it comes to the trigger but also the mag release there are only a couple i would even consider that are still plastic and basically just make the button bigger
theres no issues modding the daggers.. heck look at the sabre daggers.. those are super tricked out daggers.. and multiple folks ahve been making their own versions of sabre daggers for years before the sabre daggers came out.. putting in an aluminum mag release is probalby a good idea either way as its more prone to be able to hold the mags in better at all times. be they mecgar or ets or glock, or whatever… makes no mind..to me if the better mag release lets me use a wider variety of mags, well then im swapping out that mag release asap.
have you modified a dagger.. i have, many glocks, a few other glock clones as well.. majority of people who are honest will report problems that just don’t normally happen in a glock. it’s mostly due to the ergonomic changes, infact this is the entire selling point of a Sabre dagger lower it is all the modifications you wish you could do at home actually done right especially to these new ergonomic changes
typically i dont modify any glocks other than simple things like extended slide releases mag releases etc.. so no.. but i get what your saying.. and i can agree, theres a vast difference between my sabre dagger and my standard dagger. although i love them all.
Im having issues with mine. When I seat it in there they can be pulled out with a little force. I have a metal mag release. Def has to do with it. Was so excited to get metal mags and then so disappointed right now.
welcome aboard Skylar! Glad to have you on the forums! please make yourself at home. have you tried it with a polymer mag release? ive had no issues as i mention above with my dagges releasing mags of any flavor i feed them..I havent thrown a MecGar into one of them yet i dont think, but everything else, no worries, GLock, magpul, KCI, those cool clear extended bastards i dont remember the manufacturer of… they make all sizes really and smoke mags is one of their most popular but now they have all sorts of colors out there I wanna say EDS, but i could be wrong… but yeah, surplus mags, new mags, my daggers run them all, and they’re all using PSA parts kits except 1.. so thats 5 outta 6 so far standard daggers having no issues… i may be off on that number… seems low… ![]()
you are having the same problems even with the metal mag release? it might be the slight ergonomic difference. is there a reason for using metal magazines over polymer? (besides you just bought them and want them to)
