I have a plain standard black one, but want another.

Trying to decide on…

  • black on FDE
  • FDE on black
  • all FDE

These pics are helping.

I think the all fde looks sweet with the black accent parts

The Dagger Sisters: Dixie (left) and Dolly (right). Or should it be Darla and Dolly?

Anyway, a few small differences that the photos should show. Of special interest might be the two different rear sight layouts: rear sight forward (on Dixie) and rear sight rear (on Dolly).

The FDE frame is actually a bit more tan looking rather than slightly blue-green, and the green slide is more green. This lighting is a mix of fluorescent and LED and I failed to adjust the white balance for more accurate color.

The white specks on the black/green Dagger are sawdust, btw. It seems my basement work area has sawdust just about everywhere.

Some sexy beaches right there.

What magwell is that?

He made it himself

Third reply into the thread and beyond.

Thanks, sorry about that.

Thanks, California, glad you like and I do too. I did try the green slide on fde frame and didn’t like how it looked. The black slide on black frame, however, is very cool. Guess I need to get another Dagger to try additional color combinations. Now they came out with that neat gold, fluted barrel so I need to get ANOTHER Dagger for that. (Btw, the name comes from the Jimi Hendrix song, “Dolly Dagger”. And just this morning I finally get the joke with the product name Dagger. I’m slow some days.) :sunglasses:

My Dagger build
Swampfox Justice RMR green dot
Streamlight TLR7A
Tyrant Designs I.T.T.S Trigger
Ameriglo GL-329 suppressor height tritium sights
Tyrant Designs customization bundle: extended mag release, cover plate, +5 mag extension (Not shown since I need to buy a compatible mag, doesn’t work with my PMAGs)
Skullhead Arms IWB Boltaron holster
Might get a compensator, still looking at the market (rumored PSA compensator)

Thing is a pin driver, I’m new to handguns and was hitting 10” groups from 50 yards, shows the effectiveness of optics on pistols, the 3 MOA dot is just so easy to keep on target.

Originally bought the two tone sniper green. After a while I disliked the two tone so bought matching frame. Then…may as well buy matching slide for black frame…I mean no sense in having a non functional frame right??

Looks very nice. I shot my all black with the SW1 slide for the second time today. It felt much smoother than the first time out. Sights are low to the right shooting at 7 yards and need a bump over a bit. Trigger felt better. She gobbled a little over 200 rnds approximately. Even chewed up and spit out some damaged rounds that jammed in my Black Rain carbine.

Grabbed a cheapie trigger gauge and both the daggers are between 5 to 5 1/2 with an occasional 4 1/2. Oddly the one that feels more gritty but hasn’t been shot yet (black frame, RMR green slide) averages 1/2 a pound lighter than the all black SW1 that seems smoother.

I should have brought the green one but just wanted to take 1 pistol today.

Those cases I thought I wouldnt like. Oh man, now that I have them I love them. I thought they would be cheesy and I wouldnt use them, but apparently I’m just an idiot because I really like them!

I agree the Dagger has a nice trigger out of the box. My preference is not to have the “rolling break” that the Dagger’s connector provides. Trigger work has become a hobby of mine. I really enjoy seeing how far I can push a system with regard to reducing take up and reset while remaining 100% safe.
