I currently have a nice set of flip up BUIS. I am going to get an optic for the gun and figure why not install the BUIS offset. So the question is get a set of mounts for the sights I already own or buy a new set of offset sights? I’d like to use the sights I already have but I worry about them being too high after mounting them to the offset mounts. Anyone out there have thoughts on the matter?
What optic will you be getting? While I have buis on most my Rifles, if you get an optic that is a lpvo with etched glass you technically won’t need them.
As we discussed on another thread, I’m leaning towards the Primary Arms SLx 1-6x24mm. I won’t have quick release scope mount & in case the optic gets damaged I would like immediate access to a back up sighting system.
