Order keeps declining

For the last couple days I’ve been trying to order a scope and upper receiver separately but both orders continue to decline even with using different cards. I literally placed 2 orders last Wednesday with one going to my FFL and one coming to me and both went through fine. I’ve troubleshoot all I can and no luck

There is your problem. You kicked yourself into the fraud category. The gun industry is seeing massive fraud and almost all companies have tightened their security. Call into to CS (use an old order number) and tell them to kick it up to the finance team.

Perfect.. problem solved now. Thank you

Orders getting declined like that are usually tied to billing mismatches or the payment processor flagging something as high risk. I’ve had it happen before when the shipping and billing addresses didn’t match exactly. Calling the bank to confirm they’re not blocking the transaction can help, but sometimes you just need to contact the retailer directly to sort it out.

I’ve had that problem too lately, but have been unable to resolve it. Both GuitarGuy and Sean.psa have been working on it, but no joy. I’ve never had to fight to give my money to a vendor before.

Just tried to order again and it was declined again, so no solution has been found for this problem. I will be ordering from another vendor for this purchase.

Continued ordering wont help. PSA has had a rash of banks declining purchases on the bank side, not the psa side. PSA also deals with an extremely high amount of fraud, which could lose them their FFL due to ITAR rules.

A few items:

  1. send a mod your name, address, email, and phone #

  2. this had to go through finance dept which means we have to pass it up

  3. shipping/billing have to be the same otherwise it will kick you onto the fraud list

  4. do NOT try multiple cards, that will automatically kick you into the fraud list

  5. a VPN will automatically kick you into the fraud list.

Good info. I didn’t know that there has been an issue. I just placed an order the other day and it went through with no problems.

One more thing I forgot to add….

If you have EVER done a charge back then you are likely fired as a customer. There is simply too much fraud and if you arnt willing to work with PSA on a resolution and instead do a charge back then it wont be a good ending.

As it should be, for a Legitimate Business like PSA. They have too much at stake to not do what they can to make a Customer “Whole”, when something eventually goes T.U.

Running into declines like that out of nowhere is frustrating, especially after recent orders worked fine. Switching cards usually makes it worse since it can flag the transaction as suspicious on their end. Reaching out to support and having them push it to the finance team seems like the only real fix here. Weird situation, but glad it looks solvable once they review it

I had shipping FFL one state vs billing address in another issue last year. One call fixed it- I sent them a photo of my license and they shipped the pistol to FFL.
