Plastic damage on the slide PSA ROCK

I didn’t. What dose that have to with the firing pin housing damage. Lol I’m not sure is that’s what it’s called. But it’s the plastic on the back side of the slide

It has a lot to do with it. If the screws were too long that’s exactly the area where the screws deform the Striker housing.

I’d take it apart and look. You likely won’t be able to get the striker housing to come out without removing the dot. Put it in a bag when removing the the back plate that spring launches on disassembly.
I have one that the striker housings are cracked on the top side because of the long screws. Runs just fine though so I haven’t called CS or anything, got all mine when they were new on the market and we didn’t know at the time it was an issue.

That’s interesting. I don’t remember how the the screw are. But every thing works. But I wasn’t sure would this cause a issue in the future

The Greenville Store actually installed that optic because I bought it in store and they’ll install optics if you purchase them there. They weren’t aware of the issue yet either.

mental note, check my dagger out of paranoia to make sure the same thing isn’t happening.
