The Rock 5.7 has free shipping for the holiday sale. I am trying to order one and it will not give free shipping.

I had a problem with ordering the Complete Optics Ready Rock and got no satisfaction from PSA customer Service.
On 6-20 I ordered the non optics ready Rock as the Optics Ready version was out of stock figuring I’d order an Optics Ready Slide later when they became available. The website stated that magazine orders to WA State ( where I live ) would be prioritized to ship so they would arrive before July 1 ( the date our purchase ban on 10+ round magazines goes into effect ). It seemed to me that this policy would also apply to pistols that included magazines.
PSA shipped my Non Optics Model Rock the next day via 2nd day air and my FFL received it in plenty of time for me to fill out the State Paperwork and pick up the magazines long before July 1.
As is often the case, the Optics Ready Complete model was again in stock on June 22. Because of how quickly PSA shipped my non Optics model I also ordered one expecting it would be shipped the next day, the 23rd or on the 24th at the latest. It was not shipped on either day. I chatted with PSA customer support on the 24th and was advised they could not check on why the optics model wasn’t shipped or check on whether it would be shipped on Monday or Tuesday. I was advised that if they weren’t able to ship it so that it would arrive before July 1, they would ship it without the magazines but wouldn’t be able to refund the cost of the magazines so I’d have to eat the loss myself.
Since this was unacceptable, I Cancelled the order on Monday.
I’ll still order an optics ready slide when they’re available but was very disappointed in the lack of customer service and support.
Iirc they had to have a cutoff date for the WA orders. I hate that happened to you, at least you have 1 gun and like you said, you can always order the slide. It stinks that politicians hamper freedom so much.
I placed the order on the 22nd before the cutoff date/time which was midnight on the 22nd. The order was accepted and my CC charged. No explanation as to why it wasn’t shipped as advertised.
It depends on how many last minute orders they had. With the volume they do and the UPS backup locally i do not think they can guarantee. They try as best they can, but some things are out of their hands.
