Any idea when the dealer portal will be online? Over a year ago - before the PSA web site major overhaul - Chad told me it would roll out about a month or so after the big public site update. IIRC, that’s been over a year now.
It’s still something that is in the works and we’ve made good progress on, but I don’t have a release date for it yet.
Figured as much. Thanks. Yes, the dealer ordering process is a COMPLETE mess right now. I know the reps are doing the best that they can, but the ordering process has been stuck in the 1970s … even before the COVID mess.
Same here, we had bought 5 KS47 complete lowers well over a year ago and at the time the uppers were supposed to be in stock in a week or so.
So finally after a year of seeing them go in and out of stock on the retail site with no way to contact our salesman we were forced to buy them at retail, pay shipping and sales tax just to free up all the cash we had sitting on a shelf for a year.
It’s really frustrating to have been supporting the company for a long time and now being shoved to the back burner.
Have you reached out to dealer sales lately? I know they are constantly talking with dealers to help them get what they need. The supply chain has taken a beating so it is certainly more difficult than it once was, but they are doing their best to work through it.

Calling on the phone results in leaving a message which doesn’t get answered, emailing results in no answer.
It’s pretty frustrating. I’m not a huge techie by any means but I can’t see what’s so hard to create dealer logins that would automatically give the discounts and tax exemption at checkout.
Instead of trying to contact one salesman should we be doing something differently?
We know it’s crazy, totally crazy right now and we totally understand sometimes we might not be able to get through to someone but it’s weeks or more in between getting someone on the phone.
I certainly would appreciate a dealer login. The current hold time on the phone is 25 minutes.
We are getting close to completion on the dealer portal. It’s hard to give an exact date, but I would think we are less than a few months away.

You may have spent your life in retail, but you certainly never spent over a year with the federal, state and local governments literally shutting down the economy and businesses, and knowingly destroying jobs while printing and borrowing money in order to create a socialist state where everyone is depending upon a check from the government. These are different times, and while COVID was the instigating factor, it’s the government that has greatly increased the economic and financial messes business owners, companies and workers are in. The only folks who haven’t had to worry about a thing are illegal immigrants. Facts matter.
I actually do. I’m an authorized PSA dealer. I’m sorry you can’t have an adult conversation using facts instead of rambling on with nonsensical and overused platitudes.
