Rmr torque

Dagger came with red dot screws, but i dont trust quality of screws…ordered better 6-32 x 7/16 torx stainless screws. Question is what do you guys torque screws to? 10 in lbs? 15 in lbs? The internet is all over the place?

I can’t answer your question but I like the stainless screws idea.

Holosun 507 says 15 inch lbs, with blue loctite, just asking what shooters have done. 15 inch lbs seems like alot to me?
Btw…you can buy them online. Just do a search for stainless torx 6-32x 7/16

Inch-pounds.

You really think PSA would sell faulty screws with a GUN???

The PSA screws are too long for a Holosun 4/507C anyway. Not sure on RMR deck height but maybe it will fit the Trijicons just fine.
If going with aftermarket screws, do yourself a favor and either get ones with a larger torx head, or just get a philips head one since it will use a larger bit. The tiny torx bits suck and if you use actual blue loctite, you’re going to strip or shear something. If using original small torx size, vibratite is your best bet. It will come off with intentional force.

For torque spec? I just crank em by hand until they stop turning. Never had problems like that.

Yeah i got T15 torx stainless

you dont trust the quality of screws? Screws that are made in the USA, and used on all of PSA’s guns that need them… you dont trust them… but you trust the firearm itself, and the roll pins that hold it together…

umm… ok,… good luck

I don’t trust any screws at the first time you screw them in and take them out they start to deform and lose thread

well that makes it more understandable why you dont. then i concurr. the way you had said it i had found it funny without the further explanation.

I took a chance on the PSA dagger because I like PSA products… Like any product you buy there’s things that can always be made better… I don’t think there’s a single person on here. That buys an AR-15 from PSA. And doesn’t enhance it in one way or another.

Yeah! I like it too. Got a link?

Stainless always sound sexy cool, but they are the worst fasteners to use in most applications.

Stainless GALLs. I stay away from it.

Percipitation hardened (Austenitic) CRES is more subject to galling iirc, not necessarily all types.
