Just received my lower for my 5.7 yesterday put the slide on it ,and then tried to take the slide off, and it would not come off. pull the slide all the way back let it go. pull the trigger and nothing anybody have any ideas what’s wrong with this? The only thing that works really good on this gun is the magazine release.
Are you sure you’re trying to remove the slide correctly? Take a look at the manual. Removing the Rock slide is different than a glock slide. If the slide is installed properly and isn’t resetting the trigger you may need to create a warranty claim and send it back.
My first time or so it was a bit tricky but once I checked a couple youtube videos it was easy.

You might want to submit a warranty claim. Make sure you mention not being able to remove the slide, despite following the manual.
Make sure it’s not “cocked”. The slide won’t come off it’s ready to fire, the guy covers it in the video but it goes by pretty quick. At least the one I may or may not have won’t.
Well I have found out what is wrong with my pistol. I have a dead trigger.I have to send it back for a new one
What do you mean a dead trigger? Its just broke and you dont know whats broke on it?
Had you not tested/checked the trigger prior to installing the slide?
No I didn’t know and by the way you have to cock the gun, and pull the trigger before you’re remove the slide I asked the specialist at the gun shop where I picked up my lower which part was messed up the upper or the lower, and he informed me that it was the upper that was messed up and there’s no way of knowing that when you get it out of the box.
Rufus you hit the nail on the head my gun is in a permanent state of being cocked with no way of releasing it

Rustman, did you send it in and did they repair it? If so, what did they say was wrong and what needed to be fixed? I have had my Rock for 10 months now, every time I take it to the range it has been a dream too shot. Today, I took it to the range and it would not reset the trigger. I also cannot remove my slide.
Call CS they aare not on the Forum. They will get you squared away.
