Ah, here we go - here’s some posts from the PSA forum that touch on the firing pin replacement thing, all seem to indicate an OEM Glock pin would work. If it did not work for you, I’d be really interested to hear how/why it failed to work in the Dagger?
My Dagger has had its OEM slide parts replaced with Glock bits.
I had the firing pin break on my Dagger while dry firing shortly after I got it. I know others have also. I read that the Dagger firing pin is slightly wider at the tip than the Glock pin. Does anybody know if the Glock firing pin works in the dagger? I have a Shadow Systems firing pin that I’m thinking of using. I believe it matches Glock dimensions. Thanks for any help on this.
The tip of the Dagger firing pin that extends through the breech face is slightly wider than OEM Glock and aftermarket firing pins making it incompatible with OEM Glock and aftermarket slides.
Can PSA help us understand why they felt the need for a proprietary striker? I assume it provides an improvement over existing OEM Glock and aftermarket G19 gen3 strikers?
