That looks like a lightning fast pistol! I’ve fired a few of them and I’m always impressed with how smooth the slide moves on the frame.

For the money though, the CZ Czechmate is tough to bet. My wife’s CZ had 1lb 9 oz trigger right out of the box. My Tanfoglio? No so much. 5lb 12 oz out of the box😮 Worked it over with Henning parts and now have her down to 2lb 1 oz

Man I absolutely love my Tang 10mm. It took a lot of work though to get it running . I ended having to get the the 15rd magazine it kept giving me blood blisters from the gap between the frame and the magazine it caught my fat fingers on recoil

I could tell ya a little history on it from experience. A very long time ago I purchased a 41 action express tangfolio at a gun show. During that Era 41ae supposed to take over the market as the go between round in the middle pack. 9-41ae-45 and so on. But it never took off so the 40 became popular instead till this day. So over the years I’ve had a very hard time getting ammo for the ole girl. Since only 2 companies made ammo for that caliber and now there is none unless you reload it yourself. So I reached out to eaa via email and bang I got lucky. They had a conversion kit for it and it is now a 9mm. It originally came with 2 barrels but over the years I lost the 9mm barrel. But eaa came out like Champs and made my ole paperweight come back to life. So yes love the weapon and modified trigger pull as well down to 2lb. Glad there’s others that like it as well.

I had an EAA Witness in .45 ACP but unfortunately I no longer have it. Loved that pistol.

I had a EAA Witness 45ACP around 2000 I bought it because it wasn’t very expensive and when I saw it was made in :it: I figured it must be quality. Well I couldn’t get it to feed HP defensive ammo reliably, but it would feed round nose ball ammo no problem. I took it back to the gun shop I bought it from and the guy was like “why do you want to fire HP ammo in it for anyway” Ended up selling it and never gave EAA another shot.

I recently purchased the Witness P Carry 10mm. I really like the pistol and shoot it well. While firing my defense rounds,180 gr FTX HP’s, I felt irregular action in the recoil. Up til that point the pistol had fed and fired reliably. After that shot I had several failure to feed’s. Upon review I found a ding on the bottom of the barrel. I sent it off to EAA for repair. After paying to have it shipped there and getting charged $60.00 to have it shipped back to me, I see no future EAA purchases. CZ needs to make a 1cm with big capacity.

That’s pretty awesome. Last year I popped into a gun shop on the opposite side of the metro area that I live in. One I’ve never been before. On the bottom shelf my eye caught a Tanfoglio witness and the price tag showed $300. It looked minty. I asked the guy to see it and my interest turned to dissappontment when I realized it was a .41ae version.

I didn’t buy it because I knew ammo wouldn’t be available for it. It’s cool they got you a 9mm barrel for yours.
