Trump shot

I don’t want to be that guy, but I’m about to be.

Everything about this stinks. From the literal day Trump announced his decision to run over 8 years ago, they have been endlessly trying to get rid of him in any way possible. First it was in the vote of public opinion, by constantly running with false or completely out of context media narratives or even straight up slander.

He still won.

His entire Presidency was filled with Dems trying anything they could to remove him. False impeachments, lawsuits, taxes, bringing pornstars out of the woodwork, you name it.

It all failed.

Then they stole the 2020 election with corrupt mail-in votes. Trump refused to go away. They continued the false narratives. Continued the slander. Continued to try to nail him any way they could, even going so far as the complete sham and mockery of a “lawsuit” in order to label him as a felon knowing full well it wouldn’t hold up on appeal.

Nothing since day 1 of their attempts has worked. Now that we’re basically on the eve of a new election, people know Biden is a puppet and a vegetable, and Trump has not gone away, an assassination attempt is made?

Our government is no longer worthy of our trust. There is something very wrong happening.

I can’t wait for the left to turn this into anti-2A propaganda.

I doubt it’s a coincidence an AR15 was used for the attempt when it was far from the optimal choice too.

The attendee that was shot and killed

He was outside the venue

Its the most popular firearm in the USA. Statistically speaking i would be more surprised if it wasnt what was used.

Hard times ahead.

Someone said Toby Keith would’ve wrote a hell of a song after yesterday :us:

Not trying to be a smart ■■■ but allowing the shooter to get to an elevated, PRONE firing position less than 150 yards away with multiple eyewitnesses informing the police and Secret Service of the shooter doesn’t qualify as being
outside the venue. It was an epic (intentional or unintentional?) fail by law enforcement.
BTW if you were being sarcastic, please accept my apology. It really is nothing to laugh about.
:+1::us:

Not from a “murder” standpoint it sure isn’t. Or a hunting standpoint even.

Anyone with any firearms knowledge who wants to make a precision shot on a standing target at over 100m isn’t grabbing an off the shelf AR to do it, that’s all I’m saying. We should be thankful the guy didn’t use a Rem 700 in .308 or .300winmag, as an example.

“ During the attack, he appeared to be wearing merchandise promoting one of YouTube’s most popular channels devoted to firearms - Demolition Ranch - NBC News reported.” - guess he will be banned from YouTube before long for ‘inciting violence’.

Whoever orchestrated this sure is insulting our intelligence. Yeah, this guy was a registered Repub and DemoRanch fan. And I’m the Queen of England.

In most of the “recent” assassinations/attempts I think the weapon choice was based on what the shooter had available, not necessarily the best choice…
Alleged weapons:
John Kennedy - 6.5 Mannlicher Carcano (war surplus)
Martin Luther King - 30-06 Remington 760
Robert Kennedy - .22 Iver Johnson revolver
George Wallace - .38 snub nose
Gerald Ford - 45ACP M1911A1
.38 Special revolver
Ronald Reagan - 22LR Roma RG14 revolver
Most are definitely not the best but it is what they had when they decided to act.

Fair point, but there was never a huge media and political narrative behind attempting to ban any of those at the time.

I know I’m getting very deep into conspiracy theories here, but it all makes too much sense to just brush off.

One story said it was his dad’s gun
He purchased 6 months ago
Im just repeating what I read

In the late 60’s thru the 70’s there was a hard push to ban the “Saturday Night Specials”. Obviously not entirely successful but the push was there and helped push the age to purchase a hand gun to 21.

He was outside the metal detectors and entrance to the event. It was a security failure for sure.

Well it was his dads and he obviously had access. Dad may not have had a bolt action. We dont know all the facts yet.
