Does changing the muzzle brake on a AR Void the warranty? I have a QD suppressor and I obviously need to change the brake to make it work but am hesitant to do it if it voids the warranty.
@Jf05 Removing the muzzle device will not void your warranty!
Thanks so much for clarifying that. I had heard so many different things and even called customer service and they didn’t know for sure. Really appreciate you getting back to me.
If you over torque it and break the index pin it probably does, but if you change the brake properly it’s fine.
Exactly. As long as it is not user error, we will cover the firearm still.
Thanks for the Clarification!
I had an extractor break on a 9mm upper, I contacted Customer service during the Covid-19 crap, it took about 4 days for PSA to exchange the complete bolt carrier group with a new one. I thought it was pretty fast considering the Covid-19 time frame.
PSA warranty rocks

I have an issue with my gas key. But you can’t talk to a live person. It’s a giant loop that takes u to where u started! Its all computers! Not a person to be seen! Is this a joke? I need my claim!
Will swapping a trigger assembly or buffer/tube void the warranty under either of the following circumstances: 1. With PSA parts 2. With other high quality parts purchased from PSA?
I don’t work or represent PSA in any way but I would imagine with option 1 it wouldn’t be a problem, given installed properly and proper replacement parts and all other warranty requirements met. #2 I have read posts here where they have in the past helped to make their equipment work with equipment not of their making. That being said, I wouldn’t expect much help with say parts that were bought off of eBay, Amazon or whatnot. That being said what they have done in the past regarding mods with others part is no guarantee of what they’ll do in the future.
Might be a question better asked of @Anthony_PSA, @mattbbb14 or maybe one of the other mods can step in.
Nope, mod away!
I bought a new 300 black out upper and were cleaning and putting some fresh lubricant on it and was trying to pull a swab through the barrel and it stopped, so I looked through the barrel and found and pulled out a metal jacket from a bullet out of the barrel. Has anybody run into this and is this a warranty issue.
