i am just going to run this by everyone so my latest experience with ordering is made public. i have been a psa customer for some time. while on vacation jan. 8th 2023 i ordered 8 ammo cans of 9mm signature bulk ammo. 129 ea. =1150 and change after shipping and tax. when i returned on sunday my son said nothing had arrived. now i was told by my wife that our card had been charged on the day i ordered. i checked the website over the weekend and notice the order was canceled. i assume for lack of stock. i called cs this morning to find out what is going on and they informed me that i would see the money returned by the end of day on friday the 27th? ā¦so they have instantly charged me for something they did not have and then could cancel the order immeadiatly but it takes 20 days for me to get my money back ? pls tell me why i should ever buy here again
PSA does not sell out of stock. So they didnāt sell you something for lack of stock. Are you using a VPN? That could be the problem. Or the CC processor could have canceled the transaction. Have you ever had a chargeback? That too will throw a flag in the system. Did you try multiple times with multiple cards?
There are a lot of issues that can cause this. Reading through the thread it seems the biggest problems are 1) the use of VPNs 2) ordering an item PSA cannot ship to your area (like a standard capacity mag going to an area that has mag round limits) 3) CC processor playing games (which your bank will say is not them and isnāt on PSA either).
I donāt know what a vpn is. I ordered the product from my phone like always. I havenāt ever had a charge back and my cc company didnāt cancel the order THEY PAYED IT IMMEDIATELY. thatās why I donāt understand. I payed for the ammo on the 8th. There are no ammo restrictions on my area. I have bought from many other companies without issue. I can somewhat understand that for some unknown mystery reason psa may cancel a order but return my money as quickly as you take it! At least they could have started a return with my cc company but nothing has changed since the 8th no refund no contact other than adding canceled to the order. And when I finally contacted them this morning they say wait until Friday? How does this make sense? ![]()
Virtual Private Network. And just because it shows up on your card app doesnt mean it actually processes (gas stations are notorious for charging you $1 to make sure the card works. It will show on your card but you are never actually charged $1.)
I pay my card monthly they definitely have the money
I should have said in full monthly, thats why I know i was charged for the purchase.
Your credit card must change over after you placed the order. You will get a credit back on your next statement then.

Iām not an authority on the matter nor am I in any way associated with PSA. Thus I can only offer my understanding of the ordering process based on what Iāve experienced myself and read here in the forum. If youāre okay with that, read onā¦
When your order is āIn Reviewā it means PSAās compliance department is validating the purchase to ensure the item or items are legally allowed to be owned and shipped to your state / local area of residence. There may be other things involved in this process like vetting your FFL and their paperwork, and so it seems legal compliance is the consensus as to primarily whatās going on behind the scenes when an order is āIn Reviewā . It takes some time for the review process to complete and can vary greatly based on the volume of orders PSA has in the pipe.

Hey guys, I placed an order 2 weeks ago, and my order initially shipped out on a plane from Kentucky, to Seattle. Iām in Texas and found it a little weird, but fast forward the following day my two guns are somehow now showing up as being in British Columbia, and now they claim theyāve had shipping issues and are returning to sender, and gave me a new tracking number. Issue is this new tracking number for the return to PSA is saying it also has a new tracking number but is nowhere listed. Concern being now the package has not been updated on either two tracking numbers and has been stagnant for 2 days, across the border. Anyone had any issues like that? Thanks in advance!
Unfortunately that isnt on PSA. Ive had things go way out of the way to get to me, but not out of country.

It will ship as soon as they can ship it unfortunately. Review usually has to do with serialized items and the FFL check.
Thank you for replying! It must of been cleared up now that itās in processing. Another question⦠does the 5 business day apply to orders that are in review? Or does the clock start once it moves to processing which was yesterday. It was ordered on Tuesday of this week.

Usually once its in processing, which is the same for serialized and non serialized. There is no guarantee on the business days #, its usually withinā¦
My order was cancelled and customer service has no idea why it was cancelled, pretty frustrating because I was excited for my stuff.
