Long story shortened. Bought used dagger for $280 on Gunbroker with a Holosun RD. Idiot. Gun not cycling due to bad spring. While looking for spring found brand new OD Green SW2 ECC Slide with co-witness sight. Nice, right? No because this is now Dr Cut which doesn’t match my Holosun or any of my other sights. HELP where and what to buy.

For your slide picking any of the options under the Docter cut pattern will work.

Get the rmr cut then…they make both 
I’ve been to 4 different web sites and not a one have anything about DR anything. Vortex, Midway, Optics Planet, PSA, What DA F am I retarded.
Any of these will work.
I bought my doctor cut dagger because it came with 5x 27 round and 5x 15 round pmags. Lucky for me, I have a Burris Fastfire 3 loafing around. I am excited for next week when I get to pick up the pistol and shoot it. I am also excited to shoot a pistol with RDS.
I have the Doctor footprint on my PSA slide. It didn’t come with a cover plate and screws. I’ve attempted 3 times via chat and phone to determine what size screws to use to mount the Vortex Viper to the slide. Customer service said just use the screws that come with your red dot. Since not all are the same I’m concerned about stripping the screw holes. Customer service via phone said it’s either 32x1/4 or 32x7/16. Can you tell me specifically please what the correct size is? Thank you.
@danmillerwbr This is per the install sheet that should have come with your slide. It lists parts and usage.

Does PSA sell the screw kit for the optic cut slides? I mine did not come with them either.

I honestly didn’t know there was a difference. After reading this thread I have a little better understanding. I wish the industry could just standardized some of this stuff.
@Anthony_PSA thanks for your ongoing support and going the extra mile to help everyone out. Maybe add that list of optics to the Dagger sales pages for clarity.

I bought the RD3-012 Delta and it is too long for the DR cut. The screws are not long enough to mount it on top of the plate. Any suggestions?
Return the Delta and get a sight that fits, there is a list here somewhere. Trying to mount an optic on a slide without a cut is NOT RECOMMENDED and a good way to mess up the slide with broken screws and the optic takes off in a trajectory.

Who got a Vortex Venom, the one with the top load battery.
Allegedly the Delta was supposed to fit. It is on the list and that was why I bought it. They need to update that.
@aemisegger are you using the screws that came with the slide or the ones that came with the optic?
I’ve tried the screws that come with the optic and the ones that came with the dagger. If the optic actually fit in the cut, the screws would work. They are not long enough to go through the plate.
