Extended design - the CN5F is engineered to be 0.1 inches longer than its predecessor, maximizing coverage of the threaded area on a receiver extension (RE) without compromising backward compatibility. This ensures that even the longest carbine stocks can fully collapse on both the Vltor RE-A5 and our RE5F. Compatibility - while the CN5F is optimized for the Vltor A5 system, it maintains versatility by also functioning with standard TDP spec length REs. However, users should note that the additional length may prevent full stock collapse on these standard REs. Enhanced Staking notches - addressing common feedback, the CN5F features longer and deeper staking notches. This design choice reinforces the nut's stability once installed and staked, ensuring it remains secure unless intentionally adjusted by the user. User-friendly design - the CN5F eliminates the discomfort of using wrench notches as serrations during installation. This thoughtful design consideration enhances the user experience, making installation smoother and more efficient.
