The Enhanced magazine release-Continuous Serrations (EMR-HC) is meticulously designed to enhance your firearm handling experience. Featuring a slightly curved button surface, it aligns perfectly with the natural curvature of your finger, ensuring a comfortable and intuitive press. The EMR-HC boasts an uninterrupted surface with continuous serrations, providing a secure grip and improved control. With a profile that is just 0.04 inches taller than the standard factory magazine release button, the EMR-HC offers a significant ergonomic advantage. When installed, it protrudes 0.08 inches above the magazine release button fence on most forged receivers, making it exceptionally easy to operate. This design is particularly beneficial for 7.62mm AR platforms, where the EMR-HC's height allows for efficient Magazine changes with minimal button travel - only 0.06 inches - 0.07 inches is needed to release a Magazine. While the EMR-HC is optimized for 7.62mm ARs, it is also compatible with 5.56x45mm ARs and M16s. However, for defense and duty applications on these platforms, we recommend using our EMR-H model, which features a more conservative 0.01 inches protrusion for enhanced safety and reliability. For .308 Cal ARs, the EMR-HC's taller profile is advantageous, allowing the use of AR-15/M16 spec mag catches and ambidextrous mag catch/releases without protruding over the mag release fence. This ensures seamless integration and operation, making the EMR-HC a versatile and valuable upgrade for your firearm.
