The Freedom Ordnance FM-9D 8" 9mm AR pistol is an innovative platform that combines traditional magazine-fed operation with a unique belt-fed capability in a compact, maneuverable design. Featuring an 8-inch button-rifled barrel with a 1:10 twist, QPQ nitride finish, and 1/2x28 muzzle threading, it is built for durability and reliable performance with a wide range of 9mm ammunition, including 115- to 147-grain FMJ and hollow point loads. Its split-bolt delay operating system enhances controllability while supporting smooth, dependable cycling.

Designed for maximum versatility, the FM-9D offers an instantaneous transition between belt-fed and Glock-pattern magazine-fed operation, complete with last-round bolt hold open when using compatible magazines. A full-length Picatinny rail and M-LOK slots provides ample space for mounting optics and accessories, while the one-handed charging and bolt hold-open assist device improves handling. Constructed with heat-treated 4140 chromoly and S7 tool steel components, the platform is built for long-term durability and broad compatibility with common AR-pattern buffers, braces, grips, and AR style triggers. The included 33-round Glock-pattern magazine completes a highly adaptable 9mm AR platform built for reliable performance.
