Introducing Galco latest addition to their collection of torso-worn hunting and outdoor holsters - the High Ready chest holster system. Engineered to offer the utmost comfort and convenience, the High Ready is tailored for securely carrying large-frame semiautomatic handguns during hunting, fishing, camping, or hikes in bear-inhabited regions. Positioned on the chest, it ensures the handgun remains free from gear near the waistline or on the back, allowing for the flexibility of rifle carry on either shoulder. This configuration also guarantees the handgun's protection against moisture during wading and proves advantageous for various forms of riding, whether it's on an ATV or horseback. To enhance comfort, an innovative backing plate is created by layering ballistic nylon over a closed-cell foam core. The part in contact with the wearer's chest is lined with Galco Comfort Cloth, an Adaptive Performance Mesh material that provides both cushioning and moisture-wicking properties. Additionally, a unique harness construction enables the holster to pivot at three independent attachment points, facilitating unrestricted movement and minimizing hindrance. The holster component is attached to the harness straps at these pivot points using secure metal side-release buckles, which are easy to operate. Lastly, the harness features 2 inches wide tubular webbing straps that expertly distribute the weight of heavier handguns to maximize comfort. One strap rests over each shoulder, while the second encircles the torso, ensuring efficient weight dispersion. The Kydex holster pocket, designed with an open-top for full slide coverage, allows for a swift draw, effortless holstering, and enables a full firing grip. Moreover, it accommodates most red dot sights, adding to its adaptability and usability.
