Designed with a keen focus on comfort and convenience, the High Ready is engineered for securely carrying large-frame semiautomatic handguns during hunting, fishing, camping, or hikes in bear-inhabited regions. Positioned on the chest, it ensures that your handgun remains unencumbered by gear around the waist or on the back, granting you the freedom to carry a rifle on either shoulder. This setup also provides protection for your handgun against moisture when wading and proves advantageous for various forms of riding, whether it's on an ATV or horseback. The holster's construction begins with an inventive backing plate created by layering ballistic nylon over a closed-cell foam core. The section in contact with your chest is lined with Galco Comfort Cloth, an Adaptive Performance Mesh material that offers both padding and moisture-wicking properties. Additionally, a unique harness design allows the holster to pivot at three independent attachment points, ensuring unrestricted movement and minimal hindrance. The holster component is securely fastened to the harness straps at these pivot points using metal side-release buckles that are easily operable. The harness itself features 2 inches wide tubular webbing straps that expertly distribute the weight of heavier handguns for maximum comfort. One strap drapes over each shoulder, while the second encircles your torso, ensuring efficient weight dispersion. The Kydex holster pocket, designed with an open-top, provides complete slide coverage, facilitating a swift draw, effortless holstering, and enabling a full firing grip. Furthermore, it accommodates most red dot sights, enhancing its versatility and usability.
