Galco proudly presents the High Ready chest holster system, their latest addition to the lineup of torso-worn hunting and outdoor holsters. Carefully designed for supreme comfort and convenience, the High Ready is meticulously tailored to securely carry large-frame semiautomatic handguns during hunting, fishing, camping, or hikes in bear-inhabited regions. Positioned on the chest, it ensures that your handgun remains free from gear near the waistline or on the back, allowing for the freedom to carry a rifle on either shoulder. This configuration also ensures the handgun's protection against moisture when wading and proves beneficial for various forms of riding, whether it's on an ATV or horseback. The holster's construction starts with an innovative backing plate formed by layering ballistic nylon over a closed-cell foam core. The part contacting the wearer's chest is lined with Galco Comfort Cloth, an Adaptive Performance Mesh material that offers padding and moisture-wicking properties. Additionally, a unique harness construction allows the holster to pivot at three independent attachment points, promoting unrestricted movement and minimizing hindrance. The holster component is securely fastened to the harness straps at these pivot points using metal side-release buckles that are easily operable. The harness itself features 2 inches wide tubular webbing straps, expertly distributing the weight of heavier handguns for maximum comfort. One strap drapes over each shoulder, while the second encircles the torso, guaranteeing efficient weight dispersion. The Kydex holster pocket, featuring an open-top design, delivers complete slide coverage, facilitating a swift draw, effortless holstering, and enables a full firing grip.
