Taking the renowned Girsan 1911S match into uncharted territory, we handed it over to Noel, one of our accomplished competition shooters. His mission: push its limits, transform it, and deliver his insights. Noel returned with a comprehensive list of improvements: transition the ambi-safeties to larger thumb shield safeties, deepen the forward and aft serrations, incorporate a solid guide rod, enhance the front bushing's thickness, introduce an enhanced trigger, refine the magazine well, introduce G10 grips, integrate a fiber optic front sight, add an extended magazine release, and fine-tune the slide-to-frame fit. Every single change recommended by Noel was meticulously implemented. But that's not al - we didn't stop there. We took it up a notch by upgrading the frame and slide to solid stainless steel. And for those who prefer the prowess of a 9mm, we've introduced an option to embrace this configuration. The Girsan 1911S match, shaped by competition expertise and driven by innovation, now stands as an embodiment of excellence in every detail.
