With the proper bullet, .22 WMR is a super effective cartridge for small to medium-sized game out to about 125 yards. Magnification is your friend when it comes to hunting with .22 Mag, and the Lever Action Magnum Express takes out all the guesswork to get you up and running fast with a rifle that is optics-ready right out of the box.

For your convenience, the Lever Action Magnum Express features a picatinny rail pre-installed on the receiver cover, which provides a rock-solid base for mounting the glass of your choice. Because a scope is mounted higher on the rifle than iron sights, we opt for a Monte Carlo buttstock with a high comb to raise the cheek up for a more stability and comfort. To ensure a non-slip fit, the buttstock is capped with a soft rubber pad that will grip into your shirt or jacket. Both the Monte Carlo buttstock and the forestock are checkered and made with genuine American walnut wood. The round blued steel barrel is void of any iron sights that may get in the way of a scoped rifle. No dovetail blanks needed here!

One huge benefit of a lever action rifle are the fast follow-up shots and there are plenty on tap here with an 11-round tube magazine. Like our other rimfire rifles, the Lever Action Magnum Express uses a ¼ cock safety mechanism so that there are no external safety switches or toggles.
