The RICO G-LRF marks a significant addition to InfiRay Outdoor's rugged infrared compact optics (RICO) lineup, integrating a built-in laser rangefinder for the first time. Designed as a more compact and cost-effective alternative to its larger counterpart, the RICO Mk1, the G-LRF is offered in two models, 384x288 35mm and 640x512 50mm. Despite its smaller size, it retains many key features of the Mk1, including a familiar 4-button layout, compatibility with the AD-RQD quick-release mount and an intuitive software interface displayed on an HD OLED screen. Innovatively, the G-LRF introduces several new features to InfiRay Outdoor's offerings, including a high-density 26650 battery configuration and a cutting-edge 905nm LRF micro-module. This advanced laser ranging technology reduces the size of the input receiver while maintaining the accuracy and range capabilities comparable to larger, more power-hungry modules. To achieve its compact size, the G-LRF incorporates a smaller chassis, shorter eyepiece focal length, barrel-style manual focus objective optics and optimized battery configuration using a single 26650 battery, ensuring up to 4 hr (GH50R) or 7 hr (GL35R) of operational time per swap. These features collectively make the RICO G-LRF an ideal choice for hunters seeking a compact thermal optic with integrated rangefinding capabilities.
