The K-SPEC features strategically placed angle cuts in the rails, channeling fouling and debris into noncritical areas away from the receiver, ensuring uninterrupted firearm operation. Known as the "sand cutter," this design enhances performance in adverse conditions. To further enhance user safety and comfort, the K-SPEC BCG relocates the standard gas relief ports from the ejection-port side to the Magazine feed lip channels underneath, significantly reducing debris and gas vented towards the shooter's face. Additionally, two emergency relief ports are added to the bottom of the carrier to prevent structural damage in the event of a case head separation. Rigorous testing confirms that venting gases through the Magazine well does not negatively impact Magazine feeding or ammunition function, with minimal additional heat generated. The K-SPEC's dual ejector system employs mil-spec ejectors and springs, requiring no proprietary components. The ejector holes are precisely centered on the lugs, preserving the bolt's strength. This dual ejector system enhances ejection reliability and ensures a consistent ejection pattern.
