Is see a voluntary recall by Kel-Tec for the Gen 2 Sub2000, is this item included in the recall?
Tom F on Oct 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It looks like it’s only for a specific lot from a batch in 2017. I recently bought mine and if you go to the site you’re able to put your serial in and it tells you if yours is part of that lot or not. In my case I was good to go.
Is the lower a true glock 17 ?
Kim N on Oct 17, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The Kel-Tec sub2000 lowerwer is not an actual glock 17 lower. This model of the sub2000 has the magazine catch to allow this rifle to accept G17 magazines.
Has anyone had any issues using reloaded ammo?
Rooster on Oct 20, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I just bought one yesterday and took it to the range, not a single issue. I ran several kinds of ammo, included reloads with no issues.
What scope will work with this?

Will this take the 32 round OEM Glock 19?
Lockman1226 on May 31, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Yes. General rule of thumb. You can always go longer, but not shorter. So, a Sub2000 chambered for G19, can take a G17 mag, but not the other way around. This for the same reason that an actual G19 can take a G17 mag but not the other way around. Because the mag well on a G17 is too long for the G19 mag. They can both take the longer 30 and 32 round mags.
Do have to be 21 or older to buy this gun?
Mason on Jun 10, 2019
BEST ANSWER: No, this is a rifle. The minimum age to purchase a rifle is 18.
Can you substitute for 10round mag?

BEST ANSWER: Contact PSA customer service.

Nice compact piece
This is the second best version of this firearm. The best version is the Gen 2 that takes M19 glock mags. With that one you can run any glock mag out there!!! With this one..the M19 mags will not fit without modifying the grip., and the m19 is the most popular glaock going. If you use a m17 in the m 19 grip,it sticks out an big deal!

Not a bad little gun
Bought mine yesterday and took it to the range last night. Ran several kinds of ammo through it with zero issues. Even used some 33 round Glock mags. I would say my cons would be that
the sights take a little getting used to, replacements are very limited because of the design and I wouldn't want to have to shoot at a moving target. The second issue is price, it feels and shoots like it should be cheaper. All in all Im happy with it.

Great 9mm rifle
Fun gun to shoot. Great service at PSA. I installed several MCARBO accessories to lesson the recoil. It's an accurate rifle that is enjoyable to shoot.

Great Carbine!!
Just have to say that I own two of these. A Gen 1 and a Gen 2. With the glock magazines, they run perfect for me. Amazing survival or truck weapon. 500 rounds or so through the gen 1 and 3500 through the gen 2. NOT ONE JAM ON THE GEN 2! Convinced my father and wife to get their own for their emergency packs.

Need Compact Glock Compatibility? This is the Carbine!
Unlike Jay O, I did purchase my Subbie 2000 Gen 2 from PSA and very happy with the firearm. Realizing the primary goal is lightweight portability, the Sub 2000 does this remarkably well. However, I do concur with some manufacturing improvements and QC issues. Brought up to KelTec, they covered all, (a separating stock collar, an off-0 front sight), yet took an exhorbitant amount of time to return firearm from servicing with poor customer communication, . . . however, KelTec installed a totally new barrel, likely in advance of any recall issues, just to be safe. For what it is, the carbine is remarkably accurate at 50 - 75 yds and I hit the steel at 100yds with any and all ammo I feed through it. It eats anything and spits the lead downrange where it belongs - on target, regardless of magazine manufacturer, (Glock, ETS, MagPul, etc). Speaking of, no 5 star due to difficulty accessorizing, while maintaining compactability. . . and affordability. Sling helps that long range accuracy, (if you are trained with slings), and a bottom mounted light/laser sight offer illuminated target acquisition options, and retains foldability. IF you want a higher quality, more traditional PCC, go with the Ruger PC Takedown that likewise takes Glock mags. . . I have both (the Ruger is scoped) . . . and then, go figure, I bought the Glock 17 to carry.

Poor quality
I own a keltec sub 2k gen 2.. I didn't buy it from psa. But buyer beware! This is one of the worst firearms I've ever owned. I cant believe the poor quilty. Its nerf gun plastic and all the parts and components are trash. The feed ramp is plastic.. jams up on every other shot.. in order to get this gun working properly I had to order every part mcarbo has to offer. Can't believe they let this kind of garbage leave the factory.
