The excessive factory tolerance between the pin and receiver fit is eliminated, thereby stabilizing the trigger guard and significantly enhancing bedding stability. The pins secure the trigger guard, while the screws on either side of the pins maintain the trigger's position when the barreled action is removed from the receiver. This prevents the pins and trigger from inadvertently falling out during disassembly. Note that countersinking of the receiver pin holes is required.
