Sidelok is an innovative quick detach (QD) mounting system designed for optics, eliminating the necessity for tools, levers or oversized knobs. It features a straightforward push-button mechanism for securely attaching any optic to a picatinny rail. The system ensures the maintenance of zero and guarantees a consistent return to zero when remounted in the same position as initially zeroed. Additionally, it incorporates a safety feature to prevent accidental movement or detachment of the optic, positioning Sidelok as a leader in the future of optics mounts. The Sidelok Modular ACOG mount is characterized by a slim profile and a slightly elevated base to facilitate aiming and provide clearance for iron sights. A distinctive feature of the Modular ACOG mount is its two different mounting positions, which offer a more forgiving eye relief. In the forward mounting position, the ACOG aligns flush with the front of the mount, presenting a profile similar to, but taller than, the Trijicon TA51 mount. When mounted in the rearward position, the ACOG adopts a rearward cantilever, allowing for clearance over most folded flip-up iron sights.
