The KAC Rifle-Length free-float RAS (rail adapter system) is designed with full-length Mil-Spec M1913 picatinny rails at the 12-, 3-, 6- and 9 o'clock positions, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of rail-mounted tactical accessories. Its free-floating barrel design enhances accuracy by maintaining consistent barrel harmonics during firing. Included are three KAC 11 rib rail panels. Installation requires a rifle with a carbine or Mid-Length gas system and a low-profile gas block, necessitating disassembly of the gas system and removal of the factory barrel nut. The forend utilizes a proprietary barrel nut that can be installed using a standard AR-15 armorer's barrel nut wrench (sold separately). Compatible exclusively with AR-15/SR-15 platforms, not suitable for SR-25 variants. Installation instructions are provided for convenience.
