Lapua's sponsorship of the US Rifle Team ensures that this classic cartridge will remain a staple for top-tier competitors, with brass readily available for their precision shooting needs. The .284 Winchester's rebated rim design allows for a larger powder column while still functioning smoothly in medium-length actions, making it a preferred choice for custom rifles. Its renowned accuracy and high muzzle velocity also make it a favorite in the hunting field, where it excels across a wide variety of applications. Lapua's .284 Winchester case takes the Large Rifle Primer (LRP) and will soon be available in the newly designed 100-piece Lapua brass box, which is specifically crafted to keep the brass in pristine condition during shipping. However, due to continued high product demand and the current market conditions, particularly the situation in Ukraine, the availability of some products, including the .284 Winchester, is temporarily limited and delivery times may be extended. To prioritize civilian and military obligations, some components, including the .284 Winchester, will be temporarily suspended from production. While some Lapua products may be out of stock for a period, this does not mean the cancellation of any products and production will resume as soon as market conditions stabilize. We are also taking steps to improve production capabilities, with new production lines scheduled for installation in 2023 and 2024.
