Perfect for preserving grains, coffee beans, dried beans and other essentials, they protect your food from light, moisture, insects, dust and debris. By purchasing bulk items and repacking them into smaller portions, you can save money while ensuring your food stays fresh for extended periods. The 7-mil thick Mylar bags are puncture-resistant and prevent oxygen and water from entering, while the foil layer further protects against light exposure, helping to maintain flavor and freshness. These flat-sided bags can be vacuum-sealed in a chamber vacuum sealer and can also be sealed using an external vacuum sealer with adjusted sealing time and temperature. Each bag features a convenient tear notch for easy opening and they are safe for use in refrigerators and freezers (but not for boiling or microwaving). For optimal preservation, it's recommended to use oxygen absorbers (300-500cc per bag). This pack includes 50 bags, offering plenty of storage options for all your long-term food storage needs.
