These heavy-duty, food-grade Mylar bags are specifically designed for vacuum sealing with external vacuum sealers, making them perfect for long-term storage of dry goods and freeze-dried foods. Ideal for preserving the freshness of grains, coffee beans, dried beans and more, they protect your food from light, moisture, insects, dust and debris. Save money by purchasing in bulk and repacking into smaller portions for convenient storage. The 5.9-mil thickness resists puncturing and prevents oxygen and water from penetrating, while the foil layer blocks light to maintain flavor and freshness. The textured sides help eliminate air pockets and the tear notch makes for easy opening. Compatible with most external vacuum sealers, these bags are best sealed using increased time and temperature, especially with LEM's MaxVac vacuum sealers. Safe for both refrigerators and freezers, these bags are not suitable for boiling or microwaving. For optimal results, we recommend using oxygen absorbers (300-500cc per bag). The set includes 50 bags, each measuring 11 inches x 13 inches.
