The LMT monolithic Rail Platform (MRP ) employs a patented design, crafted from a single-piece of aerospace-grade aluminum forging, establishing it as the only true monolithic Rail Platform. This system incorporates two side-accessible locking bolts on the receiver securing the barrel extension with a 360 degree engagement. This innovative technology allows for rapid barrel removal and reinstallation, ensuring a consistent return to zero. The receiver is compatible with multiple barrels of varying lengths, materials and calibers. The upper receiver features a 19-1/4 inches picatinny rail at the 12 o'clock position, while the remaining seven sides offer M-LOK compatible attachment points. MARS-H barrels are equipped with a low-profile gas block and straight gas tube and they undergo proprietary coating and cryogenic treatment to enhance long-term durability. The MARS-H ambidextrous lower receiver includes an EDM-machined two-stage trigger, a winter trigger guard, an endplate with a QD swivel point, an LMT ergonomic textured grip and a SOPMOD stock. Ambidextrous controls encompass the bolt catch and release, magazine catch and safety selector. Consistent with all LMT lower receivers, the extension tube is treated with a dry film lubricant. The weapon system is supplied with a magazine, an owner's manual and three rail panels.
