The MARS-H flagship model exemplifies a robust, versatile and precision-engineered weapon system. It integrates the durability of a combat-proven system with the accuracy of a long-range rifle, enhanced by the MARS modular architecture. The carbine is equipped with a 16 inches, chrome-lined barrel featuring a 1/10 right hand twist and a two-stage trigger, ensuring sustained precision shooting. The system incorporates the LMT patented monolithic Rail Platform (MRP ), a unique monolithic Rail Platform crafted from a single-piece of aerospace-grade aluminum forging. This design employs two side-accessible locking bolts to secure the barrel extension, providing a 360 degree engagement. This patented mechanism allows for rapid barrel removal and reinstallation, maintaining zero with the same barrel. The receiver accommodates various barrels differing in length, material and caliber. The upper receiver is equipped with a 19-1/4 inches picatinny rail at the 12 o'clock position, while the remaining seven sides offer M-LOK compatible attachment points. MARS-H barrels feature a low-profile gas block and straight gas tube, with proprietary coating and cryogenic treatment for enhanced durability. The ambidextrous lower receiver includes an EDM-machined two-stage trigger, winter trigger guard, endplate with QD swivel point, LMT ergonomic textured grip and SOPMOD stock. Ambidextrous controls encompass the bolt catch and release, magazine catch and safety selector. Consistent with all LMT lower receivers, the extension tube is treated with a dry film lubricant. The system is delivered with a magazine, owner's manual and three rail panels.
