It is recommended to replace the springs every 3,000 rounds for calibers .40 Cal, 10mm and .357 Cal and every 5,000 rounds for calibers 9mm and .45 Cal
If the spring slips over the endcap screw, reverse the spring and reinstall it
Most springs have a slightly tapered end, which should be positioned on the endcap side
