The LWRC IC-PSD pistol delivers rifle-caliber performance in an ultra-compact personal defense platform. Derived from LWRC designs developed to meet U.S. Army Individual Carbine program requirements, this compact pistol combines advanced engineering with proven reliability in a highly maneuverable package.

Its lightweight, compact configuration supports a wide range of defensive and duty applications while maintaining the durability expected from the IC series. The platform is built around LWRC’s patented self-regulating short-stroke gas piston system, utilizing advanced steel alloys commonly found in aerospace applications to enhance reliability, longevity, and ease of maintenance. The gas piston system is easily accessed by loosening two thumb screws, and the buffer tube recoil system contributes to smooth, consistent operation.

A precision-manufactured Monoforge upper receiver is paired with a modular 7-inch rail system, allowing flexible accessory placement while keeping overall weight to a minimum. Slim modular handguards allow rails to be added only where needed, preserving balance and handling. The fully ambidextrous lower receiver includes bolt catch and release, magazine release, and fire controls accessible from either side, making the IC-PSD pistol a refined and adaptable solution for compact rifle-caliber performance.
