The LWRCI Six8-Pistol was developed as part of the Enhanced Rifle Cartridge program to address the performance limitations of the 5.56x45mm NATO round. Chambered in 6.8x43mm SPC II, this firearm delivers greater terminal energy by utilizing a heavier projectile, bridging the lethality gap between .56x45mm and 7.62x51mm NATO.
