The most effective method for assessing this critical dimension is by utilizing a Lyman case length/headspace gauge. The reloader inserts the case into the gauge to confirm it neither exceeds the maximum nor falls below the minimum permissible headspace. Additionally, the gauge will detect any case that surpasses the maximum allowable case length.
