Features

The Model 1854 is a modern revival of Smith & Wesson's Volcanic series of lever-action rifles. The rifle features a modern flat-faced trigger design to aid in consistent finger placement that is combined with a large loop lever for easier manipulation while wearing gloves. The magazine tube is also removable to allow for quick and safe unloading of the firearm and is paired with a loading gate for quick reloads. These features are combined with a threaded barrel and top-mounted 1913 Picatinny rail for quick and easy attachment of muzzle devices and optics.

This limited edition model has been produced in collaboration with Mad Pig Customs and Midwest Industries. It features a Midwest Industries pistol grip stock, extended handguard and sights. Mad Pig Customs has provided an enhanced lever, takedown screw and angled spade muzzle break along with a custom-tuned action and trigger job. Each rifle of this series sports a custom two-tone "Foliage Green" and "Elite Blackout" Cerakote finish by Mad Pig Customs along with a laser engraving individually numbered to the gun. A two-tone FDE/ODG padded sling provided by Flatline Fiber Company is included along with a handstop.
