The Enhanced Lever Gun (ELG) M-LOK hand guard is specifically designed to enhance the functionality of Marlin 1895-pattern lever-action rifles. With a length of 12 inches, it utilizes a patented attachment mechanism that simplifies installation by replacing the OEM or aftermarket hand guard and end cap. Featuring six M-LOK slots positioned at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock, the ELG hand guard allows for the attachment of various accessories, maintaining the classic aesthetic while offering modern adaptability. It's particularly suited for shooters using heavy-recoiling .45-70 Government rounds, providing improved grip and control without compromising the rifle's appearance. The ELG hand guard includes an integrated hand stop at the front for added shooting stability. It is currently compatible exclusively with Marlin 1895-pattern rifles equipped with a hand guard retaining cap. Note that modification, including the addition of a dovetail hand guard tenon, is required for fitting onto 1894/336 pattern rifles using a barrel band to retain the OEM hand guard.
