The Hunter Lite - Remington 700 short action is a purpose-built hunting stock designed to fit Remington 700 short action rifles and compatible platforms. As a lightweight evolution of the original Hunter stock, it features a 25% weight reduction and a slimmer forend profile for improved maneuverability in the field. The stock includes interchangeable inserts for ambidextrous use, making it equally functional for right- or left-handed shooters. It incorporates an extruded aluminum V-bedding block paired with reinforced steel pillars to prevent compression and ensure consistent receiver support, accuracy and durability. The ergonomic design includes integral sling swivel studs, length-of-pull spacers, snap-on cheek risers and an enlarged trigger guard for gloved use and convenient access to the ambidextrous magazine release. With stamped steel over-insertion tabs in the Magazine well and M-LOK slots along the forend, the Hunter Lite supports accessory attachment and is compatible with barrels up to a medium Palma profile - making it an exceptional choice for lightweight, high-performance field use.
