The MDT ESS chassis system revolutionized chassis design with features that have influenced MDT's future offerings, such as the M-Lok forend, ambidextrous Magazine latch and the XTN buttstock interface that ensures a natural hand placement. From the start, the primary goal of the ESS was to create the most ergonomic chassis possible. Every detail was meticulously crafted to ensure comfort and ease of use. The design process included sculpting the chassis from foam to refine the shapes and ensure the best ergonomic fit. With its octagonal forend, angled polymer foregrip and spacious ergonomic thumb rest, this chassis feels as great as it performs. Customization is another key feature, offering multiple M-LOK forend options, including no rail, carbon fiber, full rail and partial rail versions. The MDT ESS chassis comes with the MDT pistol grip - elite, but also allows compatibility with most AR interface grips. The MDT SRS-X buttstock is interchangeable with other XTN buttstocks and can be adapted for use with additional interfaces using MDT buttstock adapters.
